Description |
Black and white photograph showing a beachside cottage with extensive first floor damage. A plaque on the building calls it "Seaside Cottage". A notation on the back of the photograph indicates that the scene is at Fairfield Beach, specifically the Pine Creek section which was then "under police supervision to prevent ransacking". Another notation indicates that the cottage belonged to Mrs. Hugo Black, presumably the wife of the United States Supreme Court Justice. |
