Black and white photograph showing the two-story atrium-like interior of the Sanborn Branch of the Bridgeport Public Library located at the corner of Fairfield Avenue and Mountain Grove Street. Originally opened as the West Branch in 1922, the branch was renamed the Sanborn Branch in 1926 after the Bridgeport Public Library's Director Henry Sanborn [Director 1918-1926]. It was closed in 1971. |
